Beide Basel against violence against women

Authorities, specialist agencies and NGOs from Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft are working together to combat violence against women. They will be present from 25 November to 10 December as the action group beide Basel against Violence against Women (BBGGF) (on Instagram at this link) – with numerous events and campaigns to raise awareness and provide information. The following organizations are taking part in the 16-day campaign:

Here is a selection of events and campaigns:

There are stand campaigns in Liestal (Gnussmärt) and the city of Basel (Rheingasse, Pulpo, KeckKiosk) with information material and orange give-aways. These include the popular orange bicycle saddle covers.

The whole thing will be accompanied by a poster campaign in public spaces (in Basel-Landschaft also on public transport) and an awareness campaign on social media.

Pharmacies, bakeries, cultural venues and many other companies support the campaign and distribute stickers and information.

There will also be plenty of lighting: the Theater Basel and the Spiegelhof will shine in orange.
